On Sept. 4, Great Southern opened its second Ozark branch, No. 37 in the system. Three days earlier, the bank opened its first Kansas City-area retail banking center.
The Ozark facility at 1530 W. Highway J has a full-service lobby with safe-deposit boxes, drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM. Branch Manager Donna Morris leads a team of five associates.
A grand opening celebration in Ozark is scheduled Oct. 20.
The Lee’s Summit branch near Kansas City includes a Great Southern Travel office, which already had a presence in the area. Great Southern also has had a loan production office in the area for several years.
The location features a full-service lobby, offices, safe-deposit boxes, teller area, drive-through lanes and a drive-up automated teller machine. Customers will have access to four ATMs located around Lee’s Summit.
