Great Southern Bank is the owner, developer and financier of a 2,500-square-foot branch, which will be the bank’s third in Branson, according to spokeswoman Kelly Polonus. Metro Design and Construction of Branson is the general contractor for the project. Hood-Rich Inc. is the architect, and Smith-Goth Engineers Inc. is the mechanical and electrical engineer. According to a building permit filed with the city of Branson, the estimated construction cost is $550,000. The branch is expected to open in early 2008.
