Great Southern Bank

Morelock-Ross Builders is the general contractor for Great Southern Bank’s new branch, slated for completion by early fall. Marshall Waters Woody Associates is the architect for the 3,072-sqauare-foot, full-service bank branch. Engineers are Smith-Goth Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing; Joplin-based JS Smith Consulting Engineers PC, structural; and Lee Engineering, civil. Bank officials have said the new branch will replace the Great Southern location adjacent to Bass Pro Shops. A building permit on file with the city lists the estimated value of the project at $450,000.
