Great River Engineering

Posted online
Great River Engineering is the project engineer for 1717 Market Place LLC’s tax-increment-financing-funded revitalization of 20 acres of commercial land on Rangeline Road in Joplin. The estimated project cost is $50 million. No architect or general contractor has been selected for the project; Phase I is slated for completion in fall 2005. Great Southern Bank is the lender.

The project includes renovation of empty or under-utilized commercial buildings and construction of new commercial buildings. New roads and traffic signals also will be built and installed. When complete, the development will have a major sporting goods store, multiple general retail storefronts and several restaurants.
