The proposed $272 million redevelopment of the former Great Mall of the Great Plains site in Olathe, Kansas, passed a key hurdle this week.
The Olathe Planning Commission passed a resolution Monday saying the developer's proposal for the site is in line with the city's comprehensive plan.
Salt Lake City-based Woodbury Corp. now plans to request incentives to build a 4,000-seat arena and ice skating center.
