Behavioral health organization Great Circle is shutting down its residential treatment facility in Webster Groves.
“Decisions like this are never easy, but our priority must always be to most effectively meet the needs of every client we serve,” Great Circle CEO Paula Fleming said. “This change in our Webster Groves residential program will allow us to fully focus on the other important work we do in St. Louis and around the state.”
The Missouri Department of Social Services last month suspended placements at the Webster Groves residential treatment facility after three of the nonprofit's employees were arrested on suspicion of abusing a child or failing to report abuse.
The Webster Groves campus also houses Great Circle's headquarters and other programs.
