North Carolina-based Grant Publications Inc. Feb. 13 an-nounced the sale of the All Roads Lead to Branson magazine to J. D. McMillan, publisher Fifty Plus magazine.
According to a Grant Publi-cations press release, the sale of All Roads Lead to Branson was precipitated by the Aug. 7, 2001, death of its publisher, Grant Cotton.
Cotton's son, Michael Cotton, served as publisher following his father's death until the sale of the publication.
McMillan is the third publisher of the magazine since its in-ception in 1993. The first publisher, Timothy McDonald, left the magazine to start a television network in Russia, where he still resides.
Grant Publications Inc. ac-quired the magazine in 1998, and Grant Cotton was responsible for moving the magazine to quarterly publication and significantly increasing its circulation. The full-color, nationally distributed magazine has a circulation of 100,000 copies per issue, the release said.
Robert Alder, national sales manager for the publication for the last nine years, remains with the magazine in a consulting ca-pacity to ensure a smooth transition.
