'Grand Theft Auto V' grosses largest launch in entertainment history

"Grand Theft Auto V" sales exceeded the $1 billion mark within its first three days, making it the highest grossing launch in entertainment history, according to Forbes.

The video game, developed by Rockstar Games under parent company Two Interactive Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), pulled in $800 million in sales in its first 24 hours.

Analysts project sales will hit $1.5 billion.
