President Donald Trump on Wednesday night signed a government funding bill, ending a shutdown that spanned a record 43 days.
The House passed the measure earlier in the day with a 222-209 vote. The Senate approved the measure on Monday.
President Donald Trump blamed Democrats while signing the bill.
“So I just want to tell the American people, you should not forget this,” Trump said. “When we come up to midterms and other things, don’t forget what they’ve done to our country.”
