GOP-led states win national injunction against student debt plan

Six GOP-led states won a nationwide injunction that indefinitely blocks the Biden administration's student loan forgiveness program.

The unanimous ruling by the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis marked a legal victory for Missouri's attorney general.

“We are confident in our legal authority for the student debt relief program and believe it is necessary to help borrowers most in need as they recover from the pandemic,” said White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. “The administration will continue to fight these baseless lawsuits by Republican officials and special interests and will never stop fighting to support working and middle class Americans.”

It amazes me how politicians can approve thousands to billions of dollars on foreign aid but cannot help citizens of the United States who strive to better their chances of success. Unfathomable!

That's why I voted for Eric for Senator. Why is a student loan any different from my mortgage or car payment. Pandering is the only reason I can come up with.
