Eileen Naughton, Google's human resources department leader, is stepping down from her position.
The company's vice president of people operations since 2016, Naughton has been with Google since 2006.
Google has had tension with employees, including the November 2018 worker walk-out after it surfaced that the company paid departing Android chief Andy Rubin $90 million in 2014, despite credible claims of sexual misconduct.
