Google announced its first U.S. operations center would be located in northwest Mississippi.
“We are excited to continue growing our workforce across the southeast and are confident that Mississippi will be a great home for Google,” said Troy Dickerson, a Google vice president, in a news release. “This operations center will give us the opportunity to hire amazing local talent as we expand in the region.”
A specific location hasn't been disclosed for the center that would create 350 jobs and open in late 2020.
