Google to help Clooneys educate Syrian refugee children

An initiative to help education Syrian refugee children in Lebanon by George and Amal Clooney is getting a shot in the arm from Google.

Google.org, the internet giant's philanthropic arm, committed $1 million to the Clooney Foundation for Justice.

The Clooneys are seeking to help over 250,000 children - about half of the school-age children in Lebanon - who are not in school.

The Clooney Foundation is one of 51 said to be helping with the refugee crisis.
