Google plans large NYC expansion

Google is planning a significant expansion in New York City.

The plan would give Google room for nearly 20,000 staff in the city, including the employees it has now, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.

Google is planning to buy or lease a planned 1.3 million-square-foot office building and expand its existing Chelsea Market property.
