Google is expected to propose plans for a new headquarters this week in its hometown of Mountain View, Calif.
The New York Times reports the facility would feature a series of canopylike buildings from Heatherwick Studio, a London design firm known for works like the fiery caldron at the 2012 Olympics, and Bjarke Ingels, a Danish architect known for his innovative designs.
Though not officially made public, Google has discussed its plans with the local city council.
Mountain View residents may not like the news. According to the Times, some are worried Google is overrunning their small city.
