Google Maps for iPhone gets helpful new navigation features

In the latest iOS update, Google Maps will use spoken traffic directions when you are about to hit a slowdown ahead.

Prior to making your trip, the app will give you a verbal summary of traffic conditions, as well.

According to CNNMoney, it will notify you mid-journey of any incidents that will lengthen the time to your destination, with rerouting options.
