Google hit with $5B class-action lawsuit

Google and its parent company, Alphabet, are facing a $5 billion class-action lawsuit.

The suit filed in the United States alleges Google continues to gather data even when users are browsing in private mode.

Google officials claim the practice is not illegal and that the company is transparent about how it collects data in private browsing.
