Google hires new CFO from Morgan Stanley

Google Inc. hired Ruth Porat, Morgan Stanley’s chief financial officer, to succeed Patrick Pichette as its new CFO in May.

Porat, 57, is set to leave Morgan Stanley in April after 28 years with the company, according to Bloomberg.

Pichette, 51, is retiring. He joined the company in 2008.
