Google, Facebook join net neutrality rollback protest

Google, Facebook, Netflix, Twitter and 80,000 other top websites yesterday protested the rollback of net neutrality.

The so-called Day of Action was meant to encourage consumers to fight back against a Trump administration action to roll back regulations requiring internet service providers to treat all data and customers equally online.

The sites used banners, pop-ups, push notifications and videos throughout the day to reinforce the message.
