Google employee found dead, police launch homicide probe

Police are investigating the Sunday death of a young Google account manager.

Vanessa Marcotte, a 27-year-old New York City resident, was found dead near her mother's home in Princeton, Mass. The town has a population of fewer than 3,500 people.

The death is being investigated as a homicide. Investigators are unsure if the act was random.
