Google earmarks $30B for overseas deals

Tech giant Google has set aside $30 billion for foreign acquisitions, fuelling expectations that the technology giant will embark on a spending spree in Britain.

The Telegraph reports the California-based company, Britain represents a hot market for Google. It's one of the biggest global centers for technology startups outside the U.S.

Google's largest overseas purchase was the acquisition of Israeli digital mapping service Waze for $1 billion.
