Google has avoided a breakup in an antitrust case from the federal government.
U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta ruled that Google will not have to divest its Chrome browser. Google also can continue making payments to companies to preload products, but it cannot have exclusive contracts that condition payments or licensing, CNBC reports.
Google parent Alphabet's shares were up 6% in premarket trading.
