Good Spirits & Co. launches first HQ

Posted online

Good Spirits & Co., the company behind concepts such as Sweet Boy's Neighborhood Bar and The Golden Girl Rum Club, is set to debut its first headquarters space.

The 1424 E. Cherry St. building, next door to the company's Cherry Picker Package and Fare concept in the Rountree neighborhood, is slated to double as a space for private event rentals starting in September, according to a news release.

“We’re excited to showcase what we’ve learned through the years. This new space will allow us to focus our efforts on support for current operations as well as design and innovate new experiences for our community,” said Joshua Widner, owner and business manager of Good Spirits & Co., in the release.

Widner said via email that Good Spirits & Co. previously did not have an office space.

The space has a cocktail test kitchen and would allow the company to pilot menu items and conduct internal training, among other uses, according to the release.

The building just west of the Cherry Street and Pickwick Avenue intersection has been used by the likes a chiropractic and acupuncture practice in the past.
