Stonebridge Classic at Ledgestone is presented by CenturyTel in Branson. The event is a fund-raiser for Skaggs Community Health Center’s Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Scholarship Fund, which helps patients in need. As many as 80 professional male golfers are expected to compete in the $35,000 tournament, with the champion taking home at least $6,000. The 2006 Reliable Superstore Frank Conner Children’s Charity Invitational is at Millwood Golf and Racquet Club. On June 11, a silent auction, poolside buffet and live auction are to be held at Millwood. On June 12, a clinic and trick shot presentation with Dan Boever and Frank Conner is at 10 a.m. The Pro-Am with Conner and Midwest section PGA professionals begins at 11:30 a.m. Teams of four will play with Conner or a PGA professional. Team fees are $1,500 and include tee gifts for all amateurs, a barbecue luncheon and tickets to the awards banquet. Proceeds will benefit Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, Good Samaritan Boys’ Ranch, Heart of the Ozarks Junior Golf Foundation, The Regional Girls’ Shelter and Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Arc of the Ozarks and Springfield Trust Co. present the sixth annual Charity Golf Classic at the Springfield Golf & Country Club. Make-A-Wish Foundation presents its fifth annual Golf Fore Wishes tournament, with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start at Millwood Golf and Racquet Cub. Tournament fees are $150 per person. Urban Districts Alliance presents its fifth annual Center City Scramble at 1 p.m. at Springfield Golf & Country Club. The event begins at noon with lunch, followed by golf at 1 p.m. Prizes for the two-man scramble will be presented during a dinner following the tournament.
