Goldman Sachs is restructuring the company in a major overhaul.
The company plans to combine its flagship investment-banking and trading businesses into one unit, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal. Asset and wealth management would be merged into another division, with Goldman Sachs' consumer-banking arm to be part of it.
A third division would combine services such as transaction banking and specialty lender GreenSky.
