Gold-laden Nazi train found in Poland?

Posted online
A Nazi train filled with gold gems and valuable art lost somewhere in Germany? Sound like local lore? That’s because it was, until yesterday.

Maybe.

USA Today reports two men in Poland claim they found the legendary train that according to local lore vanished into a system of secret tunnels as the Germans fled advancing Soviet forces at the end of World War II.

While the existence of the train never has been conclusively proven, historians are willing to make a deal. A Pole and a German who are remaining anonymous are seeking 10 percent of the value of the train’s contents for revealing its location.

The train is said to have gone missing in May 1945.
