General Motors is laying off 900 at its robotaxi startup, Cruise.
The cuts impact around 24% of Cruise's workforce.
Cruise recently dismissed nine leaders at the company over its response to an October accident in which a pedestrian was dragged 20 feet by a Cruise self-driving car after being struck by another vehicle, according to CNBC.
