GM workers to get $11,000 profit-sharing checks

General Motors earned $11 billion in pretax profit in North America in fiscal 2016, triggering a profit-sharing payout for 49,600 eligible workers

That includes employees at its Wentzville plant.

The company employs 3,700 at the Missouri plant.
