General Motors topped analysts' estimates for fourth-quarter earnings but fell short on revenue.
Adjusted earnings per share came to $2.51, above expectations of $2.20 per share. Revenue was $45.3 billion, below predictions of $45.8 billion.
The company additionally announced a 20% increase in its quarterly dividend and a $6 billion stock repurchase authorization.
