GM to end production of Chevy Bolt

General Motors is planning to end production of the Chevy Bolt by year's end.

The Chevy Bolt EV and EUV, a larger version of the car, make up the majority of the company's electric vehicle sales and use newer technology, according to company officials.

A Detroit plant that has produced Chevy Bolts since 2016 is slated to be repurposed to make electric Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra vehicles.
