GM recalls 512,000 Camaros

Rack up another ignition-switch defect for General Motors and yet another recall.

On Friday, GM announced it is recalling more than 500,000 Camaros because a flaw in the ignition switch can cause the cars to turn off unexpectedly while being driven, according to CNNMoney.

The defect is similar to the one responsible for a recall of more than 2.6 million GM vehicles and linked to at least 13 deaths. GM is recommending defective Camaros need a new key and fob to remedy the shutting-off problem.
