GM pledges $1.5B investment in Wentzville

General Motors pledged to make a $1.5 billion investment in its Wentzville assembly plant.

It's part of negotiations to end workers' five-week nationwide strike.

The investment would mean the retention of 2,000 hourly jobs at the plant for at least four years. The plant employs 4,000 hourly workers.
