Detroit automaker General Motors announced yesterday plans to go 100 percent electric and ditch gas- and disel-powered cars.
The company plans to have "at least 20" electric vehicles in its portfolio by 2023, said Executive Vice President Mark Reuss.
GM expects to abandon the internal combustion engine entirely, according to NBC News.
