GM faulty ignition crashes now 47

GM has raised the number of frontal-impact crashes linked to problem ignitions to 47 from 32, company spokesman Greg Martin told CNNMoney.

The number of deaths tied to the defect remains at 13, according to the report.

So far, the automaker has recalled 2.6 million cars worldwide due to the faulty ignition switches.
