GM CEO's compensation jumps 77% in 2015

General Motors Co. CEO Mary Barra’s total compensation grew by nearly 77 percent in 2015.

Her total compensation was $28.6 million, mostly due to a one-time stock option geared at retaining senior executives.

Ford President and CEO Mark Fields earned $18.6 million in total compensation, which was down from $18.9 million in 2014 due to a change in pension value.
