GM auto workers go on strike

Tens of thousands of auto workers went on strike after failed negotiations between their union and General Motors.

As many as 50,000 United Auto Workers employees at dozens of facilities in several states are expected to participate in the strike.

Negotiations involve wages, health care benefits and more.
