Worldwide streaming subscription revenue is expected to reach $202 billion by 2030, according to a report from research firm Ampere Analysis.
Global revenue exceeded $150 billion for the first time in 2025, according to the report.
"While international expansion remains an important driver of the market, platforms are increasingly focusing on monetization through price increases and the rollout of ad-supported tiers, particularly in mature markets," Ampere officials said.
