Glenn Beck settles Boston Marathon lawsuit

Conservative radio host and entrepreneur Glenn Beck settled a lawsuit alleging he slandered a Saudi Arabian student he wrongly accused of providing financial backing for the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.

Abdulrahman Alharbi filed suit in March 2014 after Beck repeatedly identified him as funding the attacks carried out by Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. Beck continued to name Alharbi even after he was cleared by federal officials.

The terms of the settlement were undisclosed.
