Giving of Gift Baskets

Several Evangel University departments and organizations donated gift baskets to Weller Elementary, which sold the baskets during the school’s fall fundraiser. Becky Huechteman, chair of the Evangel education department, asked the campus to donate items for the baskets as part of Evangel’s role in Partners in Education for Weller. The university’s information technology department donated winter coats, hats and mittens, while the music and education departments, Burgess Hall, the Southwest Missouri Student Teachers Association chapter and Students in Free Enterprise teams each donated theme baskets. The fall fundraiser raised approximately $1,000 for Weller.
