Embattled executive Carlos Ghosn resigned as chairman and CEO of Renault SA.
Ghosn is slated to be replaced as chairman by Michelin chief Jean-Dominique Senard. Thierry Bollore, who's served as CEO on an interim basis, will become the permanent chief executive.
Ghosn is in jail facing charges of underreporting his pay at Nissan. He's also accused of transferring personal trading losses to the company.
