Generation Z, whose oldest members are turning 19, will begin entering the workforce in spades in the next few years.
A study by research firm Universum points out their career attitudes are likely to differ significantly from the millennials who preceded them.
Gen Z, whose members were mostly born between 1996 and 2000, largely see themselves as entrepreneurial, according to the study.
In a poll by Universum, 55 percent said they are interested in starting their own company.
Less essential for Gen Z is work-life balance and the intellectual challenge of a career, the study found.
