Germany's second-largest lender cutting 9,600 jobs

Germany's Commerzbank plans to cut 9,600 jobs during the next four years and cease dividend payments for the first time.

The country's second-largest lender intends to add jobs, too, specifically in the areas of private and small-business banking, as well corporate clients.

The bank last year had 51,300 employees.
