German manufacturer plans $6.9M expansion in KC

German manufacturer Multivac is panning a $6.9 million expansion of its Kansas City operation.

The maker of advanced food packaging machinery plans to add up to 50 jobs with the expansion.

The company, which has been in Kansas City for 25 years, is adding 32,000 square feet to its plant, bringing its total size to 120,000 square feet.
