George H.W. Bush hospitalized for ‘shortness of breath’

Former President George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized after experiencing "shortness of breath," his office confirmed Wednesday to NBC News.

A statement released by his office said the 92-year-old was "being monitored as a precaution and is resting comfortably."

Bush has a form of Parkinson's disease and uses a motorized scooter or a wheelchair for mobility.
