General Mills Inc. reported $392.3 million in net income in its fiscal first quarter, down from $404.7 million a year earlier.
Adjusted share earnings came to 71 cents, ahead of the 64 cents predicted by analysts.
Revenue rose to $4.09 billion from $3.77 billion. Analysts expected $4.12 billion.
