General Mills sales fall for fifth straight quarter

General Mills posted a quarterly net sales drop for the fifth consecutive quarter.

The latest drop was due to weak demand for its Yoplait yogurt and Progresso soup and the sale of its Green Giant frozen vegetable business, according to Reuters.

The Cheerios maker posted sales of $3.9 billion, a 7 percent decrease.
