General Mills recalls flour over E. coli concerns

General Mills yesterday announced a voluntary recall of various batches of its Gold Medal, Gold Medal Wondra and Signature flours.

Federal officials potentially linked the products with illnesses in 38 people in 20 states caused by a strain of E. coli.

Some of the sick individuals may have eaten raw dough or batter.
