General Electric is exploring a possible sale of all or part of its aircraft leasing unit, people familiar with the matter told Reuters.
GE Capital Aviation Services is the world's second-largest lessor. Its competitors have expressed interest in purchasing it, the sources said.
GE also may spin off the business, the sources told Reuters.
