GE signs $3.5B worth of deals in China

General Electric signed three aviation and engine deals with Chinese partners in a deal valued at a combined $3.5 billion.

Juneyao Airlines Co Ltd. agreed to an engine and repair agreement valued at $1.4 billion. ICBC Leasing signed a $1.1 billion order, and China Datang Group agreed to a $1 billion deal.

GE officials said President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, as well as U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang, were present during the signing of the partnerships.
