General Electric Co. selected its head of business development, John Flannery, to immediately take over the company's top post at its $18.2 billion health care operation.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Flannery, 53, succeed current President John Dineen, who is leaving the company's third-biggest unit.
GE said Dineen, 51, a 28-year veteran of the company, is looking for work outside GE.
